The Science of GOD

Oh hai!

So, how ya' been? has life been good? feeling the first tingles of spring?

me too, or it could be the latent STDs...

jk,jk

Anywho, this subject matter is pretty darn close to my heart and I realize...

This may be a couple of blogs until I have had the chance to tangent appropriately.

But GOD, amirite? \(゚ー゚\)

Since a young age, I was obsessed with the idea of the afterlife, or more to the point a grand design, a greater law. One that we all must live by in order to be one with the creator once more. But which laws are ours and that of the grand design?

I have always been argumentative (or pragmatic if truth be told), because, to me, God always felt like a human construct, not a physical reality. If we truly were seeking kudos from a God, wouldn't we be kinder to one another, seeking to avail ourselves of human pride/ arrogance? Those who were my elders (parents not included) or those who felt like they needed to teach me how to live, seemed like they themselves were lost and using scripture as their own guidance system. This would be wonderful if the point is for us all to live in harmony, but most people use religion as an excuse to oppress others.

Or at least that is how it seems to me. You see, those who preached to me about sanctities were also, racists, homophobic, philanderers, bullies or super judgey. In my mind, if God created all of it and designed us in their image, then how is my queer ass more sinful than a bigoted, mean, heteronormative religion teacher I wonder. (ಠ ∩ಠ)

Humbly IMO, God, creation, the universe, magic, and science feels one and the same. Humanity dove deep into each one of these subjects, but rarely connect them, and yet they all distinctly focus on energy. There must be a universal design, a great complex purpose, and it surrounds energy, not our human fragile constructs. But I’m getting off-topic.

As I am always seeking an understanding, a connection to our creation, I still believe in something bigger than all of us. Considering the vastness of our existence and science, as well as, its repetitive nature within us and our universe. Now that I've initiated new fun parts of my consciousness, I decided to look at this experience as a whole, unbiased. When searching for that understanding with more eyes of love, therefore, seeking out the commonalities in all religions, seeking out the consistency in our human history, or human religious history... to see that maybe we do have a rough idea, it’s just that all of our ideas need to be put together. Not one person could possibly fathom the magnitude of which GOD is, but maybe together we could understand the foundation, a place to work from. By living in this world as separate entities, we are actually creating more of a bastardized version of life, and by seeking out our similarities as common goals, we too can each reach nirvana. So I think in these next blogs I’m going to dedicate my journey to venturing into the science of God. ( ˙꒳ ˙ )

Only seek out the parts which resonate in every religious text, well the oldest ones and the most popular! (There is a lot, and I would have to dedicate my whole life to that... we simply don't have that kind of time with the deadline of a blog a month) So... My first focus will be looking into the description of God as per each major religion/spirituality on earth.

According to Google, there are seven, although there are hundreds more, for the purpose of this argument, I chose the most popular, and the oldest in written history. Those religions are:

Christians 2.2 billion

Muslims 1.6 billion

Non-religious 1.1 ( atheists, agnostic etc)

Hindus 1 billion

Buddhists 500. Million

Other Religions ( Wiccan, Scientology etc )

500 million

Although this has been a study throughout my life off and on, now it feels right to dive into our common understandings publically, just for shits and giggles.

You know, because what isn't fun about theology? ( ̄ε( ̄)

Seriously?

Like I can't make this fun at all? or is the subject of the afterlife only meant for the stoic and pious?

Asking for a friend.
